On September 8, 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, in collaboration with the Honorary Consulate in Ulaanbaatar and private sector partners from both Thailand and Mongolia, organized the “Thai Festival in Mongolia 2024” on Prime Minister Tserendorj Street in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The festival featured booths from both government agencies and businesses related to Thailand, selling Thai food, products, and fruits. There were also Thai classical dance performances by a troupe from Lopburi College of Dramatic Arts under the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute, and Thai boxing demonstrations by Lanna Fighting Camp. The event attracted over 2,000 Mongolian and foreign visitors throughout the day.
In addition to showcasing Thailand’s cultural dimensions, food, products, and services to a wider Mongolian audience, the event also celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Mongolia in 2024.
Popular products included snacks, finger foods, beverages, Thai cuisine, and seafood. This is a suitable market for Thai medium-sized businesses that meet export standards.
For more information and consultation, please contact the Honorary Consulate in Phuket (by appointment).
The Honorary Consulate of Mongolia in Phuket and Phang Nga supported the event by providing accommodation vouchers from The Par Phuket and cards from Thonburi Medical Center beauty institute in Bangkok. We would like to thank the Thai Embassy in Beijing, the organizers, and all sponsors.
