General Consuls, Deputy General Consuls and Honorary Consuls from various countries including Mr.Nattapong Punthakeirtpaisarn Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Phuket and Phang-Nga, gathered to congratulate the grand opening of the Honorary Consulate of Hungary in Phuket, Mr. Thanusak Phungdet, Chairman of JD Pool, was royal decree the position of Honorary Consul. The ceremony was presided by Mr. Sophon Suwannarat
, Governor of Phuket, and the Hungary Ambassador to Thailand, H.E. Mr. Sandor Sipos, with participation from both the public and private sectors in Phuket.
The event was simple and friendly. The consuls in Phuket have been working together, helping and supporting each other regardless of nationality. We act with mutual respect and cooperation. Many tourists facing problems have been assisted by these consuls, maintaining Phuket’s reputation and ensuring issues are promptly resolved.
